Well, I have moved onto the 6th Morganville Vampire book of the Morganville Vampire series. There are lots of characters that I want to talk about. There is Mr. Bishop, Oliver, Amelie, Sam and Jason.
I'll first start with Mr. Bishop. Mr. Bishop is an extremly evil vampire who happens to be Amelie's father. Rumours were spread that he died long time ago but unfortunatly, those rumours wern't true. I absolutly hate Mr. Bishop and frankly I would not like to hang around him. He is crazy, wild, merciless and tactical like a wild lion. I can really tell how horrible he is when Amelie says to him "I knew you'd kill one of us personally; you enjoy it far too much. You couldn't resist." Also it says "Bishop smiled, and in that smile, Claire saw everything. He didn't want to just destroy Morganville; he wanted to destroy life, and hope, and reasons for living at all. He could win only if he was the last vampire standing no matter how many people that meant he had to kill along the way."
Now, I'll move onto Amelie. Amelie, like I said before, is Mr. Bishop's daughter. She is a very demanding but humane vampire. She can talk quietly, politely but she has a presence about her which makes you not want to defy her because you can tell that the consequences will be bad. Claire often describes Amelie as a queen such as when she says "the front row held Amelie sitting alone, dressed in a white suit so cold and perfect that it made her look like an ice sculpture, head to toe". I quite like Amelie. Before she showed no emotion but slowly she has come out of her shell. For instance she started crying when she saw Sam (they were madly in love with eachother) in pain.
Next, Oliver. Oliver was first thought of as the cool guy at the local coffee shop, but it turned out that he was one of the highest, meanest vampires around town. In a bit before the part of the book that I'm at now, he was supposedly on the bad team when it said "she had a silver leash around her neck, and Oliver was holding it.
Oliver
Claire felt hot, then cold, then very still inside. She'd come to believe that he wasn't as bad as she thought; she'd actually started to think that he was trustworthy". However, it turned out that he was faking being on the bad side. He said "I'm not on Bishop's side. He certainly has thought so since I sold myself to him the night he came to Morganville. But no. I am not his beast." I think that Oliver acts tough and emotionless but I actually think that he will not betray his side. I predict that he'll come out alright.
The third person that I'll be talking about is Sam. Sam is Micheal's grandfather. Sam is an incredibly good person. I think that he and Micheal are the only two vampires that are completely good. He was so amazing and kind but sadly, he sacrificed himslef for the sake of the town. He is now dead. I will definantly miss reading about him and I felt terrible when he died. The last person that I'll be telling you about is Jason.
Jason Rosser. How do I describe such a backstabbing, idiotic, heartless rat, oh yeah like that! Jason is Eve's brother. He is crazy. Jason never baths, is pscho and loves the idea of killing. He stinks so much in one scene the following happened " Oliver met him halfway, grabbed Jason by the throat, and slammed him down onto the carpet. "You see?...You really should have thought about the carpet; you'll never get the smell of him out of it." Yukkkkkk (he was talking to Amelie)...
Well, the book is GREAT!!! I can't wait until the end but I also can't believe that the series will be over soon :(
Hehe :)

My Sister Jodi by Jacqueline Wilson
Ok well, last time I did my blog post on the same book, but there are lots of new, important characters introduced in the story. There is Mrs. French, Mr and Mrs. Wilberforce, Harley, Jed and Harriet. Mrs. French is the secretary of Jodie and Pearl's new boarding school, (where her mum works as the chef and her dad as the handyman) Melchester College. I don't seem to like Mrs. French. She gave Jodie a glass of wine (Jodie is only 14 years old) and she constantly bosses Pearl and Jodie's mum, Sharon, around. Some proof is when it says in the book "Mum still got irritated when she told her what to do". Moving on to Mr. and Mrs. Wilberforce. Mrs. Wilberforce is a oldish lady who uses a wheelchair. Her and her husband own Melchester College and they run it too. She is super nice and she always invites Pearl to come to her house and choose any books that she wants (both are MAJOR book fanatics). She has lent her books like The Secret Garden and more. Mr. Wilberforce is also very nice but he chooses favorites. Whenever Pearl and Jodie are in the room he only talks to Jodie.
Jed, is the young gardener at the school. When Jodie first came to Melchester College, she started liking him a little but then he ran over a baby badger and he wanted to poison the badger cub's family! I really don't like him because of that. He even says in the scene where he ran over the cub with his tractor "it's vermin. They all are. They're eating away at the Melchester land, making it unstable. Of course I aimed at it." Now isn't that just horrible? Unlike Jed, Harley is nice.
Harley, is a friend of Jodie and Pearl. He is in the grade above Pearl, in Jodie's class. He seems to like Jodie a bit, but he is really friends with Pearl. They sneak out at night and go badger watching for hours. One quote from a badger watching scene was "I took hold of Harley's hand. His long spidery fingers gripped mine. We sat still watching the family as the sun slowly sank in the sky." They are really good friends who are very loyal to eachother. I can tell because he says things like "I'll go behind you. Then if you trip, I can catch you". This is from a scene where Pearl, Jodie and Harley sneak into the old, almost completely broken atticks of Melchester College. He only said this to Pearl, not Jodie. Harriet is one of Pearl's closest friends in her class. They really like eachother and I think that she's nice too. People can tell that they are friends because at the beginning of the school year Harriet said "can she sit next to me, Mrs. Lewin?" when the teacher was assigning seats. Also Harriet said "you can call me Harry because we're friends now".
I think that out of all the new characters, I like Harley the best. I think that he is the nicest and cleverest out of all of the characters (other than Pearl and Jodie). This book is so good. I can't wait until the end!
