Little Darlings by Jacqueline Wilson is a great book! There are five main characters in the book. There is Danny, Destiny, Sunset, Suzy and Kate. Suzy and Danny are the parents of Sunset and Kate and Danny are the parents of Destiny. I don't like Danny because he always wakes up late and never talks to his children. He even said "shut up you jelous cow" to his wife. I like Destiny because she is really nice, when she first saw Sunset she didn't act meanly towards her, she was very kind. I also like Sunset because when she saw Destiny, she didn't say mean things to her and she wasn't snobby. She even offered to give Destiny her leather jacket. I like Kate too. When Suzy saw her for the first time, she started yelling "get off my property you... groupie!" to Kate. Kate was very nice and said things like "It's all right, Suzy. It's a big shock having it sprung on you like this." Lastly, I absolutely hate Suzy! She is so mean! In the book she said to her DAUGHTER, " your dad doesn't love you very much, you're a total embarassment to him!" Not only that but she favours her other children over Sunset.
By far my favorite characters are Destiny and Sunset. Destiny portrays a tough, fierce but kind and caring person. She is tough and fierce when someone insults her or her family. For instance when Suzy raised her hand and was yelling at her mum, Destiny said "don't you dare hit my mum!" also she said "I'm tough as old boots, me". Sunset is sort of a more uptight person but she's still kind. In the book she says "Dad, you're getting them too excited, they won't settle at bedtime". She said this when her dad was running around with her baby brother and her six year old sister.
I am really close to the end of the book, I only have a few more pages and I will definantly continue reading it. Jacqueline Wilson is a great author. The plot is interesting and I like most of the characters maybe Suzy and Danny will become nicer by the end of the book.

Triffic Chocolate
Now, I am reading Triffic Chocolate by Alan MacDonald. I love how this book tells you the history of chocolate in a fun way. The book tells you it in a fun way by including funny strips of cartoons and it makes some of the true facts funny. It also includes some outrageous but very real things that sound very stupid. For instance people used to put chilli peppers in their "chocolate drinks" (it wasn't called hot chocolate back then).
I have no problems with the way the author writes. There is no main character so I can't really say that I do or do not like that person. This is more of a historic non fiction book and I love it. I will definantly stay tuned to find out the full history of the book. It's awesome!
